I don’t remember much about this movie’s actual plot… something about a writer, and John Goodman is the devil or something. I do remember that I liked it though. It had some really neat stuff in it. I just wish I could remember what it was actually about. Maybe I’ll see it again someday.

O Brother, Where Art Thou?
A thoroughly entertaining film with a great sountrack. Apparently, it’s a 1930’s take on the Odessey – yes, the old geek story (I mean gReek story). A trio of prisoners escape a chain gang to find some hidden treasure… or maybe not. The movie is all about their encounters with strange characters along the way (all parallels from the Odessey). Good stuff from start to finish.
Thirteen Conversations About One Thing
One of those “lots of intertwining short stories” things. It was well done, I especially liked the way the stories took place at different times, although they were shown at the same time (confused? see the movie). Lots of good acting, dialogue, etc… There’s no obvious “theme”, but it doesn’t really matter, the stories are all good enough they don’t really need a “theme”. I guess the “1 thing” might be, “What makes you happy or fulfilled?”… but that’s just a guess.
