I just couldn’t relate to the characters in this… I mean, I didn’t really like them. And as a result, the slow pace was just difficult to endure. I’m sure they came to some profound conclusion on the nature of humanity, but I couldn’t get there with them. I ended up just forwarding through large sections of this, as I had better things to do. Does that mean I’m not qualified to write this review. I’m not that strict.

Belle Epoque
I just can’t get past the beautiful girls and the sexual fantasies… what was this movie about again? I wasn’t paying attention to all that “plot stuff”… something about the spanish inquisition… er, revolution?
Vickie Cristina Barcelona
I saw this… Then saw Woody Allen’s earlier movies… And I have to say, he’s really matured as a filmmaker. You might think you’ve seen every “young american goes abroad and discovers passion” movie, but this was so much more.
Vanilla Sky
I think I’ve decided that Tom Cruise movies are OK if you don’t see two of them back-to-back. This was a lot better than I thought it would be – lots of interesting direction & scenes that just leave you confused. What if you were trapped in a dream? What if that dream became a nightmare? Ok, so I’ve just ruined the whole “surprise ending”… sorry. I had the good fortune of having no idea what the plot was before I saw this. If you just read this, I guess you won’t be so lucky. This movie was based on an original Spanish Movie (don’t recall the name), I’d like to see the original.
Sahara
I saw about half of this movie and wasn’t really paying attention. I think it was on a plane or something. Anyway, it was enough to see that much. The guy who wrote the book this was based-on (Clive Cussler) wrote one of the most ridiculous books I ever heard on tape (which I can’t remember the name of at this moment). This movie fit nicely in the ridiculous genre.
