It wasn’t the greatest Albert Brooks movie – seemed a little rushed in construction. It seemed that he thinks it’s funny to “not be funny” a lot. Sometimes that works, but I think he overdoes it here. The movie could have used a bit more script editing, re-writing, etc. There were some good bits, but a lot of throw-away stuff too.
