The Pacific Crest Trail winds 2650 miles up the spine of the western United States, near the crest of the mountains of California, Oregon and Washington. The trail is a true national treasure, traversing along lonely deserts and wild forests, over rock and snow, and through raging rivers. I hiked the length of the trail in 1999.
