Landmannalauger
From Landmannalauger to the end of the hike at Skógar, we were finally blessed with actual marked hiking trail. Although the route was rarely maintained, sometimes eroded, and occasionally covered with snow, it was still reassuring to know that we were at least on the right track. Our nagging concerns about route-finding could finally take a back-seat.
