Steam Power
Our pace slowed down. We had to camp at designated areas in this section, and our first camp was only about 17 miles - still a good hike, but less than the ~23 we had been averaging. With no night-time to worry about and a benign forecast, we really had nothing to keep us from taking long breaks.
